It applies to our Website at https://omegle.me and our official Companion Safety mobile applications for Android and iOS called OmMe Companion (together, the “Service”). OmMe Companion is informational only and does not create, store, or manage live-session accounts or live communication content.

Please note that live video communication is available exclusively on our Website through an embedded third-party service powered by CooMeet. If you created an account or exchanged data inside the embedded CooMeet environment, that information is managed directly by CooMeet and is not stored by us.

What We Can Delete

We can delete personal data that we control directly, including:

  • Technical and diagnostic logs related to your visits to our Website.
  • Cookie identifiers and temporary session data stored by the Website.
  • Messages or requests you sent to our support team at [email protected].

The OmMe Companion Android and iOS apps do not host live sessions and do not store audio, video, images, or chat content.

How to Request Deletion From Us

To request deletion of data controlled by us, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
  2. Include the following information in your message:
    • The email address you used when contacting support (if any).
    • Your country or region (for example, EU – GDPR, US – CCPA).
    • Any relevant details that help us identify your request.

Verified requests are processed within 30 days. Minimal technical records required for fraud prevention, security, or legal obligations may be retained for up to 90 days and then permanently deleted.

How to Delete Your CooMeet Account

If you used live video communication on the Website and want to delete a CooMeet account or related data, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the CooMeet website.
  2. Sign in and open your profile menu.
  3. Open Personal details.
  4. Select Close my account.
  5. Confirm the action using the verification code sent to your email.

Note: If you sign in again within 6 months, your CooMeet account may be automatically restored. For assistance, contact [email protected] or review their Privacy Policy.
